Dana Ianculovici was born in Romania and had her first position in a symphony orchestra at age 18 (in Weimar, Germany). Her career brought her next to Spain after which she immigrated to the United States where she has played with all of the leading performance groups in Boston. During the last 10 years she has been dividing her time between Boston and New York City where she has enjoyed performing with artists such as Joni Mitchell, Rod Stewart and Hugh Jackman as well as performing in many Broadway productions including La Cage aux Folles, Gypsy and West Side Story.
